About The Instructor:
Assia (Asia) was born in Baltimore, MD in 1992 to Faith and Albert, alongside her older sister Fendi. Growing up in Fredericksburg, VA, basketball was a big part of her childhood. After graduating from Howard University in 2014, she joined the US Army as an Active Duty Officer. She earned her Airborne wings, deployed multiple times, and eventually became a Jumpmaster.
